Individual therapy can be a wonderful form of support if you are feeling stuck, afraid, grieving or experiencing burnout. I approach therapy from a holistic and systemic perspective, recognizing how your emotional, mental, physical, spiritual and relational health all impact each other. We will use a strengths-based approach to integrate your individual identity, values system and cultural background to help you experience the changes you are seeking. Although I have a wide variety of experience working with individuals with diverse needs and backgrounds, here are some particular goals I can support.

Anxiety, fear and worry
If you are experiencing anxiety, depression, symptoms of a mood disorder, I can support you on your journey to health. If you are coping with anxiety, depression or other mood disorders, I can support you in finding acceptance and change and experience relief.
Build meaningful relationships
If you are feeling dissatisfied or imbalanced in your relationships, romantic or otherwise, I can support you in your goal of building meaningful and fulfilling relationships with others. Your relational and interactional health greatly impacts your emotional and mental health. I can also support your journey of seeking health of a friendship or romantic relationship, including setting and maintaining healthy boundaries.
Family relationships
I work with individuals experiencing challenges in their family relationships including setting boundaries, changing family systems or relationships, navigating caregiving roles and grief. As a systemic therapist, I am especially trained apply a family systems approach to therapy which can greatly help to take challenges into context of culture, history and strengths.
Neurodiverse individuals
If you are a neurodiverse adult, I can support you in applying your areas of strength to your areas of challenge to help you experience progress towards your goals. Whether you are struggling to build social or romantic relationships, succeed in your educational or professional goals or build coping skills, I want to give you a supportive environment to feel understood and empowered. We may use a combination of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy to support your goals as well as explore resources in your community for further support.
Therapy for therapists and medical providers
I provide therapy for therapists, counselors, social workers, doctors, nurses and other healthcare and allied health providers in Colorado. Whatever your role is in our health and medical systems, you may be experiencing deep fulfillment in the work you do and you may go through seasons of burnout, fatigue, hopelessness and exhaustion. If you are a professional caregiver, we will focus on the unique impacts of your professional experience on your personal life.
We will get back to the passion and values that informed your choice to be a professional caregiver and adjust them to the season of life you are currently experiencing. We will identify current and potential supports and resources that support your vital role as a healer in our community. We will assess for burnout, address vicarious trauma, secondary trauma and compassion fatigue. You will have a safe space to share your personal experiences with the power dynamics impacting the systems you are in. We will identify strategies for you to be proactive with the toll your professional life takes on your wellness, mood and relationships. You will have a place to confidentially discuss your thoughts and feelings about your joys and pains of being a healer.
